After bathing or washing your hands and feet, wear yellow clothes. Light a ghee lamp in front of an idol of Lord Vishnu. Then, recite the Vishnu Sahasranama.
Lighting a lamp in front of Tulsi
Tulsi Mata is considered to be the incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi. Therefore, light a lamp in front of Tulsi on the night of Ekadashi. Afterward, circumambulate the goddess seven times. Doing so pleases Goddess Lakshmi and she resides permanently in your home.
Offering of yellow clothes and yellow sweets
The color yellow is very dear to Lord Vishnu. Therefore, during the puja, dress Lord Krishna in yellow clothes and offer yellow sweets. Doing so will open doors to profit and progress in your workplace.
Worship of the Peepal tree
The Peepal tree is believed to be the abode of all gods and ancestors. If possible, offer raw milk and water to the roots of the Peepal tree on the morning of Ekadashi. Then, light a mustard oil lamp in the evening. This remedy provides relief from Kalsarpa Dosh and Pitru Dosh. It also removes obstacles in business.
Sprinkling of turmeric at the business place
On the night of Saphala Ekadashi, mix some turmeric with water and sprinkle it on the main door and safe of your workplace. Doing so will create the possibility of financial gain and also bring the blessings of Lord Narayana.
