News Topical, Digital Desk : In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the first day of the year was marked by the Samajwadi Party's Chokha-Baati party. Leaders from across the state, including SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, gathered at the party office to wish each other a Happy New Year. On this occasion, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav recently took a dig at the BJP's Brahmin MLAs, saying, "We all eat together. Right now, those MLAs are sitting and eating. What will happen if they stand against the government?"

Akhilesh Yadav also congratulated the party workers for such an event. He said, "We have a culture of togetherness, and this is how we respect each other." However, it is believed that this was a political jibe by the SP in response to the BJP's Brahmin MLAs' dinner.

A luncheon was organized for the workers.

On the occasion of New Year's Day, Samajwadi Party workers organized a Baati-Chokha event at the party office. It was a perfect platform for workers to exchange greetings and socialize. However, Akhilesh Yadav's recent comment on a luncheon for Brahmin BJP MLAs turned the event into a political platform. Akhilesh Yadav, in his own unique style, taunted, "We all eat together. Right now, those MLAs are sitting and eating. What will happen if they unite against the government?"

Senior leaders and workers gathered in large numbers

A large number of senior SP leaders also arrived at the state headquarters. They met with other workers and leaders, including Akhilesh Yadav, and exchanged New Year greetings. It is believed that the party will now launch an intense campaign for the upcoming assembly elections, a glimpse of which was evident today during a community meal of baati and chokha. One of the objectives was to emphasize that everyone in the SP eats together. There is no caste or class discrimination, which is a direct attack on the BJP.
