
News Topical, Digital Desk : Amidst the ongoing layoffs at TCS, Infosys, the country's second-largest IT company, has made a big move. Narayana Murthy's company has entrusted the responsibility of talent hunting (Infosys Hiring) to its employees. The company has asked employees to refer their acquaintances for open recruitment. Furthermore, if a candidate is selected based on an employee's recommendation, they will receive a cash reward ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹50,000.
The company stated in an internal email that rewards of ₹10,000 will be given for Level 3 recruitment, ₹25,000 for Level 4, ₹35,000 for Level 5, and ₹50,000 for Level 6. These recruitments are being conducted in departments such as Engineering, Quality Engineering, Strategic Technology Group, and Enterprise Application Services.

The required experience for these positions ranges from 2 to 15 years. An Infosys employee said,
“This is the first time we’ve received so many emails in a row asking for referrals for such a large number of open positions.”
However, Infosys declined to comment officially, saying it was currently in a 'silent period'.
Recruitment will be done in these cities including Delhi-NCR
These recruitments of the company are being done for development centers like Delhi-NCR, Pune, Noida, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, Mysore, Chandigarh and Hubli.
Infosys has announced vacancies for these posts.
The company is seeking referrals for positions such as Blockchain Developer, Data Scientist, Java Developer, Network Designer, Voice over IP Expert, Aerospace Engineer. Candidates must have a BE, ME, MCA, or MSc degree and must not have participated in any Infosys recruitment process in the last six months.
TCS lays off 12,000 employees, halts hiring
The company also recently invited senior employees to participate in campus interview panels to recruit digital specialist engineers from colleges. This campaign comes just ahead of the company's Q2 FY26 results (October 16).
Meanwhile, rival TCS has recently stopped lateral hiring after laying off around 12,000 employees, making Infosys' new recruitment policy a positive sign in the industry.
