News Topical, Digital Desk : Raid 2 Box Office Collection Worldwide Day 15: On the 1st of this month, films like The Bhootni, Retro and Hit The Third Case were released in theaters, but none of them had the courage to face the sequel of Raid. Raid 2 has been making a splash at the box office ever since it hit the theaters.
Raid 2 is the sequel of the film Raid released in the year 2018. This film had crossed the business of Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office, while the business worldwide was close to Rs 153 crore. After such a huge success of the film, the makers brought its sequel after seven years, which has also broken the record of the first film.
Worldwide collection of Raid 2
Raid 2 has earned more than 100 crores within 10 days and now this figure is not stopping. Talking about worldwide, Raid 2 is now close to touching the figure of 200 crores. This film has earned around 185 crores till now.
According to Bollywood Hungama, till May 14, the Ajay Devgn starrer film had collected Rs 179.8 crore and on May 15, the collection in India was Rs 3.07 crore. In this regard, it can be assumed that the business will reach around Rs 185 crore in 15 days. The rest of the official figures are yet to come.
What is the story of the film?
The story of Raid 2 begins with Amay Patnaik exposing the black deeds of a white-collar politician. This time, income tax officer Amay Patnaik has to face Dadabhai (Riteish Deshmukh) who is doing black business under the guise of goodness. Amay gets a tip against him and starts investigating. Vaani Kapoor has replaced Ileana D'Cruz in the film. Actors like Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, Rajat Kapoor and Amit Sial are also in important roles in the film.
