When is Putrada Ekadashi celebrated?

Every year Putrada Ekadashi is celebrated on the next day of Dashami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month. On this auspicious occasion, Lord Vishnu, the savior of the world and Goddess Lakshmi are worshipped. It is mentioned in the scriptures that observing Ekadashi fast on Shukla Paksha of Sawan month brings the happiness of children.

Putrada Ekadashi Shubh Muhurat

According to the Vedic calendar, Ekadashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month will start on 04 August at 11:41 am. At the same time, Ekadashi Tithi will end on 05 August at 01:12 pm. In Sanatan Dharma, the date is calculated from sunrise. Thus, Putrada Ekadashi will be celebrated on 05 August.


Putrada Ekadashi Paran Timing

Putrada Ekadashi will be observed on August 6. Sadhaks can observe the fast on August 6 between 05:45 am and 08:26 am. Before observing the fast, take a bath and meditate and worship Lakshmi Narayana. Also, donate food grains after the puja. After this, observe the fast of Putrada Ekadashi.
