News Topical, Digital Desk : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has completed four years as the Chief Minister of the state. On this occasion, he gave a gift of Rs 550 crore to the people of the state. Along with this, he also took a pledge to take the state to new heights on Vikas Sankalp Parv. During this, he said that development is not an option for him but his resolution. For this reason, Vikas Sankalp Parv is being celebrated on the completion of four years of his government. He said that on this day in the year 2021, he got the responsibility of Uttarakhand and since then he is making continuous efforts to take the state forward.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also inaugurated the River Festival in Haridwar on this occasion. During this, he also performed puja. Various rivers of the state will be cleaned through the River Festival. In a grand program organized at Rishikul Ground in Haridwar, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated/laid the foundation stone of 107 development schemes of Haridwar worth Rs 550 crore. He inaugurated 100 schemes worth Rs 281 crore and laid the foundation stone of 7 schemes worth Rs 269 crore.
expressed gratitude to PM Modi
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami thanked PM Modi on X after completing four years as Uttarakhand CM and said that these four years have been dedicated to the development of the state. He wrote, “Dear people of the state, with the affection, love and blessings of all of you, today I have completed 4 years of tenure as the Chief Servant. With the inspiration and guidance of the respected Prime Minister, these 4 years have been dedicated to our efforts to include Devbhoomi Uttarakhand among the best states of the country. In these 4 years, the immense support I have received from you on every front has not only been a matter of joy for me but it was also a feeling of responsibility which has been inspiring me to work day and night with full dedication to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the God-like people.”
These resolutions were fulfilled in four years
CM Dhami wrote, "Brothers and sisters, while in these 4 years, the resolution of good governance has been fulfilled by implementing Uniform Civil Code, strict anti-copying law, strict conversion law, anti-riot law, on the other hand, by taking continuous action against land jihad, love jihad, illegal madrasas and encroachment and implementing strict land laws, we have proved our commitment to protect the original form of Devbhoomi. In these 4 years, while on the one hand the state has become the leading state of the country in achieving the goals of sustainable development, on the other hand, a new record has also been set in the field of road, rail and ropeway construction with better coordination of ecology, economy and technology to strengthen connectivity."
Zero tolerance policy on corruption
Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote, "We have always tried to win the trust of the common people through CM Helpline 1905 and 1064 Vigilance App and have also given a strong message by sending corrupt people like Crocodile behind bars under the policy of zero tolerance on corruption. More than 23000 government jobs have been given to young colleagues with complete transparency in these 4 years and their strong participation has also been ensured by giving 30% horizontal reservation to women. This is the reason that today the unemployment rate in the state has decreased rapidly, which is even lower than the national average."
promotion of religious tourism
Chief Minister Dhami said, "As a result of policies promoting religious tourism, every year a record number of devotees are visiting Devbhoomi Uttarakhand in Chardham Yatra and Kanwar Yatra. Redevelopment of religious and cultural sites, promotion of adventure tourism, promotion of local products, self-employment through home stay scheme, scholarship schemes, better facilities for sports and players, farmer welfare, soldier welfare and unprecedented work in the field of health are writing a new chapter in the development of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand today. While promoting industrial investment in the state, MOUs worth a record ₹ 3.5 lakh crore have been signed and a new record has been set by grounding an investment of ₹ 1 lakh crore so far. In the coming years, Devbhoomi is ready to create new steps in the field of development and progress towards achieving the goal of Developed India-2047. Heartfelt gratitude to the God-like people and central leadership for providing an opportunity to serve Devbhoomi Uttarakhand."
