According to Pakistani news channel Dawn, the United States and Pakistan have decided to move forward with an agreement on the export of rare earth minerals. To seal the deal with the US, Pakistan has shipped the first shipment of rare earth mineral samples.
America will invest in Pakistan
In September, US Strategic Metals (USSM) signed an MoU with Pakistan, under which USSM plans to invest $500 million in mineral processing and development projects in Pakistan.

It's worth noting that rare earth minerals not only contribute to industrial development but are also crucial from a national security perspective. Therefore, Pakistan is seeking to join the global supply chain of rare earth minerals, and is trying to appease the United States.
What was sent in the first consignment?
Pakistan has sent its first shipment of rare earth minerals to the United States, prepared by the Frontier Work Organization (FWO). The consignment includes antimony, copper nitrate, and rare earth minerals such as neodymium and praseodymium. The USSM described the delivery of these rare earth minerals as a "milestone in the US-Pakistan strategic partnership."
