News Topical, Digital Desk : After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, there is tension in the relations between India and Pakistan. India has taken many tough decisions against Pakistan. Pakistan is furious with India's action. After India suspended the Indus agreement, Pakistan started issuing threats.
The situation in Pakistan is such that many of its leaders and ministers of PM Shahabad fear that India will definitely attack. Meanwhile, Maulvi Abdul Aziz Ghazi of Lal Masjid of Islamabad has targeted the government of Pakistan itself. Let us tell you that Maulvi Abdul Aziz has been in the news earlier also for his controversial statements.
Maulvi Abdul Aziz lashed out at Pakistan
Lal Masjid cleric Abdul Aziz Ghazi launched a scathing attack on the Pakistan government, claiming that any conflict with India would not be an Islamic war. The cleric criticized the Pakistan government, calling it a cruel, useless system.
Video surfaced on social media
Actually, a video is being circulated very fast on social media these days. In this video, Abdul Aziz Ghazi can be heard asking his viewers whether they would stand with Pakistan in case of war with India. There was unexpected silence on his question.
When there was no major response from the crowd, he said that very few of you raised your hands. This means that now many people have become aware. The thing is that the war between Pakistan and India is not an Islamic war. Maulana Abdul Aziz Ghazi condemned the Pakistani army and accused it of widespread repression.
Atrocities are increasing in Pakistan: Abdul Aziz
He also claimed that authorities in Pakistan have become more repressive - a bold and controversial move for someone associated with the Lal Masjid, which was once a synonym for radical calls. Today, Pakistan has a system of kufr, a tyrannical system. It is worse than India. There is not as much tyranny in India as there is in Pakistan.
At the same time, referring to the siege of Lal Masjid in 2007, Abdul Aziz Ghazi said, did the Lal Masjid tragedy happen in India? Does India bomb its own citizens? Are people disappearing in India like in Pakistan? The cleric also referred to atrocities in Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and accused the Pakistan government of bombing its own people.
Pakistan is bombing its own people
He said what happened in Waziristan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa - these are atrocities...the state bombed its own citizens. Have such atrocities happened in India too? Have their fighter jets bombed their own people like we have? Are so many people reported missing in India? Here, people are tired of protesting in search of their loved ones. Here, clerics are missing, journalists are missing, members of Tehreek-e-Insaf are missing.
It is being claimed that this video was recorded at Lal Masjid on May 2. This video has created outrage on Pakistani social media. At the same time, it was also shared by former Pakistani ambassador to the US, Hussain Haqqani, who criticized the views of the cleric. Dainik Jagran does not confirm this video.
