News Topical, Digital Desk : A major tragedy was averted on Tuesday at the Tata Eureka Park Society in Sector 150, Noida. Two women, who had gone to take a steam bath in the society's clubhouse, were trapped in the steam room for nearly an hour when the door suddenly locked. The steam and heat inside continued to increase, causing them to suffocate, but the society management offered no help. The women broke the false ceiling, retrieved a rod, and used it to break the door lock, saving their lives.

It's worth noting that the victims of the incident, Parul Chaturvedi and Taruna, are residents of Tata Eureka Park. According to reports, the two women went to the clubhouse to take a steam bath around 12:30 pm on Tuesday. Their session was for 30 minutes, but when the allotted time was up and they tried to leave, the door wouldn't open from the inside.

The women created a ruckus, but there was no response from outside.

According to reports, the two repeatedly knocked on the door and shouted loudly, but no staff or security guard responded. Meanwhile, the room began to fill with steam, causing difficulty breathing. The frightened women managed to break the false ceiling, retrieve a rod, and tried to open the door for about 30 minutes. Finally, the door lock broke, and the two were able to escape.

Women leveled serious allegations against the society management

After escaping, they filmed the entire incident and shared it on social media, which is rapidly going viral. In the video, the two women described the society's poor security and management, despite the high maintenance charges and fees it charges. They accused the society's management of serious negligence.

The incident raised questions about the arrangements

Local residents say that if the women had remained trapped inside for a little longer, the accident could have been more serious. Questions are now being raised about why emergency protocols and safety mechanisms are missing even in such an expensive and modern society.
