Mother provokes daughter's husband

The mother also instigated her husband, claiming she was addicted to drugs and having an incestuous relationship with someone else. She was kept confined in the house. The girl said she was a mother of two children, ages 13 and 10. Yet, her biological mother threatened her, saying, "I didn't call the police, who are you?" After hearing her complaint, Women's Commission Chairperson Raj Lali Gill said the matter would be investigated by the police. The full story came to light after the video surfaced.

How did you find out the truth?

The girl said that when I used to go for my father's dialysis, my mother was having an affair with my father-in-law. The victim girl appeared before the Women's Commission against her mother and claimed that her father was a diabetic patient. He passed away two years ago. I used to drive my father to the hospital. He had dialysis every week. When I used to take him for dialysis, my mother would say, "I will take care of your children, please drop me at my father-in-law's house." Dialysis would take three to four hours. When I was in the hospital, my father-in-law was having an affair with my mother-in-law. After my father's death, she came to live at home, and that's when it came to light.

I will stay with you, I am scared here – Mother

The victim explained that her father passed away two years ago, and her mother told her she was alone at home. "I'm scared. So, please keep me with you at your house." Hearing her mother's words, she brought her along. After arriving, she discovered something else was going on with her father-in-law.

I was not given food for ten days – daughter

The victim appeared before the Women's Commission and clarified that her brother is a drug addict. He has now been sent abroad. He was here, visiting her and taking her car. He was even caught several times. "My mother found out the whereabouts of my car and turned my husband against me. I told him that my car had been seized in a drug case. I confessed to using drugs. After this, my family chained me, locked me in a room, and did not give me food for ten days."

I didn't leave the police, what are you?

The victim, who reached the Women's Commission, recounted her story, saying, "Madam, my mother usurped my ancestral land. She also usurped my grandmother's land. My mother rarely visits her ancestral home. Consequently, we rarely visit my grandfather's house. My mother says, 'I will kill you. If you had stayed home for a few more days, you would have been killed. I didn't leave the police. What are you?' I heard that my mother has relatives in the police. I don't know their names, but they told me they are in the Kapurthala police force."
