New Delhi. Weather Update: The rainy season is going to start again in Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will remain cloudy on Thursday and there may be a possibility of light rain at some places. At the same time, a period of heavy rain may start again in Delhi from tomorrow i.e. Friday. IMD has also issued a yellow alert in the national capital Delhi for this.

At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rains are possible in Assam, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Maharashtra, parts of Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand with heavy rains at some places.

How will the weather be in Delhi today? 

The weather department has predicted that the sky will remain cloudy throughout the day on Thursday. There are chances of thunderstorms and light rain at some places. The maximum and minimum temperatures may be 35 and 27 degrees respectively. At the same time, the weather department has forecast heavy rain for three days in Delhi from Friday to Sunday. A yellow alert has also been issued for all three days.

Torrential rain warning in these districts of Bihar

Monsoon is gradually weakening in Bihar. However, its effect is still continuing in some districts. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding heavy rain with thunderstorms at one or two places in five districts of Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Gaya. According to the Meteorological Center Patna, the monsoon trough line is passing through Sri Ganga Nagar, Gwalior, Satna, Ranchi and the low pressure area located over Bangladesh. An area of ​​cyclonic circulation remains in and around Jharkhand.

Many districts of UP are waiting for rain

The rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday brought relief to people from humidity. Strong winds have brought relief to people struggling with heat in many districts. At the same time, light to moderate rain is expected in UP on Thursday as well. The weather department in Agra has forecast that it will be cloudy on Thursday. There may be light rain or drizzle. 

There is a possibility of rain at many places in Jammu and Kashmir till August 31

Jammu and Kashmir is facing the brunt of the weather these days. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain at many places in the state till August 31. A warning of flood and landslides along with lightning has also been issued. People have been asked to stay away from rivers, streams and unsafe places. There was no reduction in humidity even after the rain on Wednesday. According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, Srinagar, there may be light rain at different places in Jammu division till August 31. In view of the weather, a warning of flood, landslides along with lightning has been issued.

There will be heavy rain in these states during the next 24 hours 

According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rains may occur in Vidarbha, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana with heavy rains at one or two places. Apart from this, light to moderate rains are possible in Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, East Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, parts of Punjab, Haryana, East Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. At the same time, light rains may occur in Ladakh, Western Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch.
