News Topical, Digital Desk : A tragic incident has occurred in the Alwal area of ​​Hyderabad, where a 23-year-old MBBS graduate female doctor allegedly committed suicide. According to police, the incident occurred on Friday evening while she was alone at home. The cause is believed to be ongoing conflicts with family members over her cat.

The young woman, identified as T. Princy, alias Shrestha, lived with her mother, Kusumlata, and grandmother in Risala Bazaar. A few weeks ago, she brought a cat into the home, and after that, she began suffering from frequent colds and coughs. The family objected to the cat, leading to increased tension and frequent fights in the household.

Incident in the absence of family

On Friday evening, the mother and grandmother were out on errands. Upon returning, they found Princey hanging from the ceiling fan in her room. The distraught family alerted neighbors, who then called the police. A police team arrived at the scene and sent the body to the Gandhi Hospital mortuary for a postmortem.

Alwal police station sub-inspector Devendra said, "The mother told us that Princey had brought a pet cat into the house some time ago. After that, she developed a cold and cough, which led to frequent arguments between the two."

The girl was preparing for post-graduation.

Princey had recently completed her MBBS degree and was preparing for postgraduate entrance exams. She was also in the process of applying for a doctor's license. Police have registered a case of suspicious death based on a complaint from her mother.

Preliminary investigation points towards a domestic dispute, but police are investigating all aspects.
