The cabinet has approved eight important National High-Speed ​​Road Corridor projects of 936 km length for Rs 50,655 crore. These roads being built in different parts of the country will save people's time and reduce the distance between many cities. Along with this, they will also help in saving fuel. These new corridors will benefit Kanpur-Lucknow, Ayodhya, Agra-Gwalior, Kharagpur-Moregram, Raipur-Ranchi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Nashik, Ayodhya and Guwahati.

On which projects will work be done?

He said that the implementation of these projects will generate an estimated 4.42 crore man-days of employment directly and indirectly. The projects include 6-lane Kanpur Ring Road, 4-lane Ayodhya Ring Road, 6-lane Agra-Gwalior National High-Speed ​​Corridor, 4-lane Kharagpur - Morgram National High-Speed ​​Corridor, 6-lane Tharad - Deesa - Mehsana - Ahmedabad National High-Speed ​​Corridor and 4-lane section between Pathalgaon and Gumla of Raipur-Ranchi National High-Speed ​​Corridor.
