News Topical, Digital Desk : New IPO: ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company has announced that its initial public offering (IPO) will open on December 12th. ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company has filed a red herring prospectus with the Registrar of Companies, and according to media reports, the company expects to raise approximately ₹10,000 crore from this IPO. The entire offer is an offer for sale, consisting of 48.9 million equity shares, representing 9.9% of the total paid-up equity, and will not include any fresh issue.

The company has stated that 24.48 lakh equity shares out of the total offer have been reserved for ICICI Bank shareholders. The IPO's anchor book will open for a single day on December 11, while the offer to the public will remain open until December 16.
Share allotment is expected to be finalized on December 17, and ICICI Prudential AMC shares will be available for trading on the BSE and NSE from December 19. Upon listing, ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company will be the fourth ICICI Group company to be listed on the stock exchange. Previously, ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, and ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company are listed on the stock exchange. ICICI Prudential AMC has been operating as a joint venture between ICICI Bank and Prudential Corporation Holdings since 1998, with a 51:49 shareholding structure. Profit of Rs 1,618 crore from April to September 2025 The company will not receive any funds from this IPO as the entire money will go to the selling shareholder. The draft document of the company was filed with SEBI in July which was approved in November. Between April to September 2025, the company has recorded a profit of Rs 1,618 crore and revenue of Rs 2,949.4 crore. ICICI Prudential AMC is managing a total of 143 mutual fund schemes which is the highest number managed by any asset management company in the country. The company's IPO is being managed by 18 merchant bankers including Citigroup Global Markets India, Morgan Stanley India Company, BofA Securities India, Axis Capital, CLSA India, IIFL Capital Services, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities India, SBI Capital Markets, ICICI Securities, Goldman Sachs India Securities, Avendus Capital, BNP Paribas, HDFC Bank, JM Financial, Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors, Nuvama Wealth Management and UBS Securities India.
