The victim, a resident of Rajasthan, said she first met Irfan for work. He forced her to convert and burned her with a cigarette when she resisted.
The victim is a makeup artist
According to police, the 21-year-old victim is a makeup artist. She had come to Indore two years ago to pursue an aviation course. Irfan, concealing his religious identity, established contact with the woman and, in May 2023, lured her to a hotel, drugged her, and raped her.
He also made obscene videos and photos and threatened to circulate them. Upon receiving information, activists from a Hindu organization apprehended Irfan on Sunday night and handed him over to the police. They informed the police that Irfan had already been banished from Dewas.
The accused blackmailed him several times
He also has several criminal cases registered against him. The victim said that Irfan blackmailed her several times, forced her to have an abortion, and forced her to fast. If she refused, he would threaten to kill her and burn her with cigarettes. In October, when she had the opportunity, she escaped.
