In fact, on January 19, the Supreme Court directed the state government to decide within two weeks on granting sanction to prosecute Vijay Shah for his controversial remarks about Colonel Qureshi. Jitu Patwari surrounded
State Congress President Jitu Patwari attended the Republic Day celebrations at the party's Indore office. Afterward, he told reporters, "Shah should have been immediately removed from his ministerial position following the Supreme Court's week-old directive, but the BJP had him hoist the flag on Republic Day. This is challenging the Constitution." Patwari said that the failure to accept Vijay Shah's resignation raises questions about the working style of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
