News Topical, Digital Desk : Ladli Behna Yojana: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the state government is committed to the welfare of the poor, farmers (annadaata), youth and women of the state. The government is fulfilling its promises. Two years of Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana have been completed. On Thursday, the 24th installment of the scheme has been released to more than 1.25 crore Ladli sisters of the state. Every month an amount of Rs 1250 is sent to the sisters.

The Chief Minister said that the tradition of respecting women in our country is from time immemorial. We are continuously fulfilling the promise we made to our sisters. We are the followers of Lord Shri Ram's culture and we fulfill the promise we make even by sacrificing our lives. The entire state feels proud by giving respect to Laadli Behna. He said that the Laadli Behna of the state has received benefits worth more than 28 thousand crores so far. The doors of the government are always open for the sisters. 

He said that when money reaches the accounts of sisters and daughters, then Laxmi remains in the house. The family culture in India is such that a mother is happy to feed her son her share of food. India is the only country in the world where the land of India is worshipped as a mother. The Chief Minister expressed these views while addressing the inauguration and bhoomi-pujan ceremony of development works in Sidhi on Thursday.
