News Topical, Digital Desk : The body of primary school headmaster Bhagat Singh Rajput was found lying on the roadside near his village on Wednesday. His Bullet bike was found nearby. The cause of death is suspected to be a road accident, but due to the serious head injury, family members suspect murder.

Fellow teacher Rajiv Tiwari said that Bhagat Singh had been president of the Kabrai Block Primary Teachers' Association. His daughter, Jahnvi Rajput, is a member of the Madhya Pradesh Under-19 women's cricket team.

Bhagat Singh Rajput, 50, a native of Baratpahari village, was the headmaster of the primary school in Bari village and lived with his family in the Alampura locality of the city. He would go to the village daily to buy milk and for other errands.

When he didn't return on Tuesday evening, his family and fellow teachers searched for him. On Wednesday morning, his body and Bullet bike were found lying on the roadside near the village. Fellow teacher Akhilesh said there were no signs of the bike dragging on the road, nor were the deceased's clothes torn.

City Kotwali Inspector-in-Charge Manish Pandey said that there was a strong storm that night. It is possible that the bike may have lost control. The situation will become clearer after the post-mortem report is received.
