News Topical, Digital Desk : Bihar News: More than 400 workers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh working in Sendan International Company Limited located in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia are in serious trouble. These include workers from various districts including Gopalganj, Siwan, Chapra. The workers allege that the company has not given them salary and proper food for the last 8 months. Not only this, they are not even being allowed to return home.

Workers appealed for immediate help

Now these workers have released a video and appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for return to their homeland. The workers have also contacted the Indian Embassy several times through mail and phone, but have not received any positive response so far. The workers say that if help is not received soon, their condition may worsen.

It was told that Sendon International is a construction and allied services company, which works in sectors such as oil, gas, fertilizer, power and transportation. The company was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

The stranded labourers include Rajkishore Kumar of Dhamapakda village of Gopalganj, Balinder Singh of Bhagwanpur Ekdanga village, Dilip Kumar Chauhan of Fatehpur Digha, Shailesh Kumar Chauhan of Rajendra Nagar Mohalla, Omprakash Singh of Balepur Bathua Bazaar, Umesh Sah, Ravi Kumar, Rajiv Ranjan and Harinder Chauhan of Siwan. All of them have appealed to the government for immediate relief. Their families have also appealed for help by submitting applications to the District Magistrate and Gopalganj MP Dr. Alok Kumar Suman.

Let us tell you that a large number of workers from Bihar, UP, Bengal go to work in Gulf countries every year, who want to earn well and take care of their families, but often these helpless people are cheated in Gulf countries. Many companies leave them helpless when the work is not done. They do not even get paid for their work. Even food and water becomes difficult for them. Once again, many workers of Bihar have been made to work for a year by Saudi's Sendon International Company Limited and now they have been left without paying.
