News Topical, Digital Desk : To curb the black marketing and illegal sale of petrol, diesel and LPG in the state, 17,581 raids and inspections have been conducted since March 12 till now.
During this period, 33 FIRs were filed against LPG distributors, while 189 FIRs were registered in other cases, resulting in the arrest of 17 people. Additionally, prosecution action was also taken against 224 people.
The government has stated that the supply of petrol and diesel is currently completely normal. There are 12,888 petrol pumps operating in the state.
Thousands of kilolitres of fuel were sold between March 27 and 29. Currently, the state has a stock of approximately 91,000 kilolitres of petrol and 1.15 lakh kilolitres of diesel.
