Lost in thoughts, scared, only her eyes were speaking! An innocent child missing from Delhi was found in Gwalior after 8 months

News Topical, Digital Desk : Delhi Crime News: When an innocent minor girl of 15 years suddenly disappeared from her house on the morning of 18 September 2024, it was as if the world had stopped for the family. She was searched day and night in the streets of Geeta Colony, Delhi, but no trace of her was found, nor her shadow. The family's heart sank every day, but the AHTU team did not give up.

A small team formed under the leadership of Inspector Balbir Singh, female SI Shilpi Gupta, ASI Sheeshpal and female head constable Sangeeta, worked with such dedication behind this case that every layer of lie started getting exposed. Soon the needle of suspicion came to rest on one name, Anees Khan, a local hawker, who used to sell samosas and patties. Investigation revealed that Anees also disappeared on the same day the girl went missing and surprisingly, Anees was already married, had a child and his wife was pregnant.

Search from Delhi to Morena, Morena to Gujarat, and then to Gwalior.
Sometimes the police ran after switched off mobile numbers, sometimes the team connected the location data obtained from fake Instagram IDs. Sometimes the search for those sharing hotspots in trains, and sometimes identifying unknown faces. For eight months, the police had vowed not to get tired. Finally, the location of the social media account pointed towards Malgarha Chowk in Gwalior, a secret information added fuel to the fire and the accused was seen in that area.

03 May 2025, in the morning,
the door of a closed house was knocked and when the door opened, that innocent girl was in front of her, tired, lost in thoughts, scared. Her eyes were saying a lot, but her tongue was silent. Seeing the police, for the first time, instead of fear, peace was seen in her eyes. Also, Anees Khan was caught, who had kept her hidden for eight months.

The innocent girl was devastated;
during interrogation, it was revealed that the girl is now two months pregnant. Anees did not let her talk to anyone, he had even removed the SIM from her mobile. She was living at his behest like a prisoner.

Justice started when
the girl was handed over to her family after medical examination. Action has been initiated against the accused under serious sections. Police is still investigating the case to find out who all were with the accused in this act.
