New Delhi. Human Aging in 40s and 60s: Many types of changes occur in the body at every stage of age, but do you know its peak? Actually, the process of aging in our body does not happen at the same speed, but mainly in two stages. In the study, scientists are talking about the age of 44 and 60. The research, conducted under the supervision of Professor Michael Snyder, Director of Stanford University's Genomics and Personalized Medicine Center, included thousands of people aged 25 to 75 years and their various molecules were examined.

In the study, 108 volunteers underwent mouth and nose swabs (microorganism samples) and blood and stool samples. During the research, scientists analyzed 135,000 different molecules (RNA, proteins and metabolites) and microorganisms (bacteria, viruses and fungi present in the gut and on the skin).

There are different changes in men and women

The study revealed that the process of aging is not uniform, but more changes are seen in the body at a particular stage of age. Research revealed that the first changes of aging are seen in the 40s and at this time people often see changes in molecules related to heart diseases, alcohol, caffeine and lipid metabolism.

The study said that these changes are seen equally in men and women. Scientists consider the second stage of age to be the 60s, when weakness in the immune system , molecules related to kidney function, and changes in carbohydrate metabolism are seen. Let us tell you, this is the age when molecules related to muscles and skin also start changing.

How does it affect aging?

Various types of research are being done on aging. In such a situation, even today scientists are engaged in finding answers to questions related to it. After all, what factors affect aging and how can they be controlled, some such questions were also tried to be known in this study. If seen at the cellular level, the process of aging is caused by deficiencies in the body. There can be many reasons behind this, such as lack of nutrition and ultraviolet rays of the sun etc. If the study is to be believed, the risk of brain and heart diseases also increases at the age of 60. In such a situation, adopting things like good diet and exercise in the lifestyle can be very beneficial.
