A handicapped person named Raju, who lives in Banat town of Shamli, has been serving free tea to Shiva devotees for the last 10 years to relieve their fatigue. He has a tea kettle on his electric bicycle, on which he has also kept glasses to pour tea. He serves tea to Shiva devotees on the Kaavad route from his town Banat to Hanuman Dham in Shamli city to relieve their fatigue.
When Shiv devotees take rest in the camp during the journey, Raju reaches that camp and immediately gives tea to the Shiv devotees, so that the fatigue of Shiv devotees due to walking can be removed.
Raju works as an electrician in his town. Seeing Raju's spirit of service, while the local people praise him, Shiva devotees have also praised Raju. Fans say that despite being a handicapped, Raju has such a spirit of service in his mind, this is a very big thing.
Where did Raju get the inspiration?
Raju told that for the last 10 years he has been serving free tea to Shiv devotees in this way to relieve their fatigue. Raju told that where did he get this inspiration? So he told that he too had gone to get Kavad, when he was coming back he saw that on the way people were busy serving Shiv devotees, so from there he made up his mind that he will serve the Shiv devotees who come with Kavad.
His journey of service, which began about 10 years ago, is still continuing. Raju said that he uses about 10 to 12 liters of milk to make tea every day. Raju said that he is a small electrician by profession.
