News Topical, Digital Desk : A Pakistani police officer is being trolled online after a video went viral showing her abruptly leaving a podcast to investigate a murder case. Lahore's Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Shahrabano Naqvi was seen taking a phone call mid-interview and returned an hour later after finishing a case. "I'm getting a call," she said as she answered the phone during the podcast. "Okay, it's the SHO calling."

"There's been a murder, I'll be back soon."

On the call, she says, "Yes, Khurram? Yes? Where? That man was caught? Great. Wait, I'm coming." Turning to the podcaster, she adds, “There's been a murder, I'll be right back.”

What did you say after an hour?

When Naqvi returned an hour later, the podcaster asked about the emergency. She replied, "Murder," and explained that it had occurred in Defence Phase A, K Block. She explained that the accused and the victim were friends and that the crime was allegedly planned over a monetary dispute.

He said, "A friend had borrowed the money, and when he was asked to return it, he became angry and plotted to kill his friend." He said relatives alerted the police, and the accused was caught red-handed, and the hostages inside the house were rescued safely.

"The police have caught the killer," he said, adding that the victim was already dead before the police arrived and the body was found in the drawing room.

Trolled on social media

The video quickly went viral online. One user commented, "Who writes this script?" Another said, "Kidney-touching acting." Another said, "Everything happened in an hour. Amazing." Another commented, "Everything happened in an hour and she went and came back... Super cops."

Someone said, "There was a murder, but it was acting." Another user wrote, "So she went in for an hour, solved the entire case, came back, and now she's telling the details of the case to a random podcaster."
