3. Incorrect or excessive exercise - Exercise is beneficial, but if done incorrectly, it can cause injury. Sudden lifting of heavy weights, not warming up, or strenuous exercise without a trainer can damage joints. 

4. Weak core muscles - The core muscles, the abdominal and back muscles, provide support to the body. Weakness puts additional pressure on the knees and waist. 

5. Ignoring pain - Many young people think that it will get better on its own, but recurring pain is a signal from the body that something is wrong. Ignoring it can cause permanent damage in the long run. 

Which symptoms should not be taken lightly?

If these symptoms recur, such as stiffness in the joints upon waking, knee pain when climbing or descending stairs, a cracking sound when moving the shoulders, back pain after prolonged sitting, swelling or pain even after light exercise, it's important to consult a doctor. Early diagnosis can prevent the problem from worsening. Delaying treatment can worsen the condition of the joints and prolong treatment. According to experts, timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment can prevent permanent damage. 

Simple and effective preventive measures

1. Walk or do light exercise for at least 30 minutes every day. 

2. Stretch before and after your workout. Include exercises that strengthen your core muscles. 

3. Sit upright, keep the screen at eye level and take a break every 30–40 minutes. 

4. Excess weight puts more pressure on the knees, which can increase pain. 

5. Joints also need rest. Give your body time to recover after continuous exertion. 

6. If the pain persists for a long time, get it checked by an orthopedic specialist.
