News Topical, Digital Desk : The dark exploits of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have now reached the Hasty Pudding Institute, one of Harvard University's oldest and most elite institutions. Recent documents released by the US Department of Justice reveal that despite his conviction in 2008, Epstein remained a major donor and "guardian of the Sphinx" at the institute from 2013 until his death.

In fact, Jeffrey Epstein was a major contributor to the Hasty Pudding Institute, a group founded by Harvard University students. Epstein was not only a member of this prestigious club, but he also used his influence and wealth to fill his reserved tables with “girls.”

Due to his annual donations of at least $50,000 to the Hasty Pudding Institute, Jeffrey was honored as "Patron of the Sphinx" at Order of the Golden Sphinx ceremonies in New York from at least 2013 to 2019.

According to email records, Epstein's assistant wrote in a 2015 message, "Hello girls! Jeffrey wants you all to attend the Hasty Pudding Gala being held at the Plaza Hotel on April 13th. Let me know if you can come and who else we can invite to our list of 10 people." Epstein's assistant wrote this message to people whose identities were kept secret.

Close connection to Howard

Emails in Justice Department files have revealed how Epstein used various institutions, including prestigious universities, as part of his network. Recently released documents with professors, donors, and societies also indicate that Harvard's ties to Epstein's web of influence may be even deeper than previously believed.

Oldest club

According to the organization's website, this social club is "an integral part of the Harvard experience." It is the oldest club of its kind in the United States and its members include five former U.S. presidents. The website states, "There is no other college organization like it in the world."

$375,000 donation

Justice Department documents show that Epstein donated at least $375,000 to the organization from 2013 until his death. This figure was previously reported by the Harvard Crimson.

Emails in the documents show that in 2018, Epstein asked Andrew Farkas, president of the Hasty Pudding Institute, a real estate magnate and Harvard supporter, if he wanted to sit at his table of 10 at a gala. Farkas replied – yes."

Nearly 2,000 messages were exchanged between Farkas and Epstein, which are included as part of the documents released by the Justice Department, and their relationship lasted for more than a decade.

According to Justice Department documents, in March 2019, Epstein was asked by his assistant whether he wanted to invite guests to that year's gala or donate the table for others to use. It appears he began arranging for his own table, but ultimately donated it.
