The US has sent a second aircraft carrier to West Asia. It has taken this step before the second round of talks with Iran.

The first round of talks between the two sides on Iran's nuclear program took place in Muscat, the capital of Oman, on Saturday. The talks were said to be positive. Now the second round of talks between Washington and Tehran may take place in Rome.

US aircraft carrier deployed in Arabian Sea

The US aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson has been deployed in the Arabian Sea. USS Truman is already deployed in this region. In this region, US forces are targeting Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.

America wants to put pressure on Iran

This move of America is being seen as a move to put pressure on Iran. After the first round of talks in Muscat, there was an agreement between America and Iran for the second round of talks. It is likely that the two sides may hold talks again on April 19. Oman has been mediating between Western countries and Iran for a long time.

Iran's supreme leader supports talks

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has backed the talks and said the first round of negotiations with the US went well, in his first public comment on nuclear talks between Iran and the US.

Khamenei's remarks reflect his agreement with the talks so far. However, he also said that we are neither completely optimistic nor completely pessimistic about the talks.
