News Topical, Digital Desk : Renowned Indian martial artist Vispy Kharadi, known as the Steel Man of India, constantly amazes the world with his new achievements. Amidst all this, he has once again achieved something that has astonished the entire world.

In fact, Vispy Kharadi has set a new Guinness World Record for his strength. He successfully lifted 261 kilograms (575.4 pounds) in the Hercules Pillars Challenge. It is reportedly the heaviest weight ever lifted by a male in this category. He achieved this feat at the Attari border in Punjab.

Raised this reason for a minute

According to Guinness World Records, the two pillars weighed approximately half a polar bear. They were supposed to be held for one minute. Wispy held the weight for much longer than that. This record astonished the audience. Later, several people worked together to move the pillars to another location.

Vispy dedicated this achievement to the Indian Armed Forces.

Wispy Kharadi dedicated this significant achievement to the Indian Armed Forces. He thanked his mentors, Shihan and Hanshi, for their continued support. This is Wispy's 17th Guinness World Record.

Vispi has a strong history with the Pillars of Hercules. In November 2024, he set the record for the longest time holding the Pillars of Hercules (male) at 2 minutes 10.75 seconds, with a weight of 166.7 kg and 168.9 kg.

The record was made by bending iron with the neck

It's worth noting that he previously held a record for bending 21 iron bars with his neck in one minute. He also holds records for breaking 528 kilograms of concrete on a bed of nails (2022), and for bearing 1,819 kilograms, nearly the weight of a giraffe, on his body in 2025.
