News Topical, Digital Desk : A shocking incident has come to light from the Pratiksha Nagar police quarters in Mumbai. A 52-year-old constable died under suspicious circumstances. The family declared the death accidental. However, the postmortem report revealed something else.

Based on the postmortem report, the police have registered a case of culpable homicide against the police constable's wife and son. Both have been arrested. The deceased's name is Praveen Suryavanshi, who was posted at the Shivaji Nagar police station.

The entire incident occurred on September 9th. Praveen Suryavanshi was found dead in his official residence. Initially, the police registered an FIR in the case, and an investigation was launched. The postmortem report revealed that the policeman's death was not a natural death. His body bore numerous injuries. This raised suspicions and began questioning relatives.

The truth revealed in the investigation

During the investigation, Praveen's brother and other relatives claimed that his death was not accidental, but rather the result of a long-standing financial dispute with his wife, Smita Suryavanshi, and son, Pratik. The deceased constable's postmortem report revealed that the 38 injuries on his body caused excessive bleeding and shock, leading to his unnatural death.

A police officer investigating the case said that during the investigation it was found that on the day the constable died, his wife and son quarreled with him outside the Shivaji Nagar police station and after he returned home, they attacked him.

What did the police say in the matter?

Police say Praveen was transferring his properties in Nashik and Kalyan to relatives. His wife and son were upset with him for this. The officer says his wife and son attacked Praveen and pushed him through a window panel, shattering the glass and causing multiple injuries. He later died due to lack of timely medical care.
