News Topical, Digital Desk : A 24-year-old woman in Hyderabad has committed suicide after a man injected her with HIV-positive blood last month when she refused to marry him.

The incident occurred on March 11, when the accused, Manohar, forcibly injected the woman with HIV-infected blood at her home. This incident occurred shortly after the woman refused to marry him. According to police, the accused and the victim are relatives, and the victim's parents had initially planned to marry her to him.

Manohar's parents are also HIV positive.

Since the accused's parents were already HIV positive, the woman's parents had him tested for the virus in September last year, and he also tested positive. The woman immediately broke off the marriage. The enraged accused injected her. Manohar has now been arrested.

Hanged himself after a month

On Friday, nearly a month after the incident, the woman was found hanging in her home. Her family immediately rushed her to a government hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

According to police, the woman was suffering from severe mental stress. Investigators believe Ramani was having a difficult time coping with fear, social stigma, and emotional trauma.

"We suspect that the psychological impact of HIV infection forced him to take this step. However, we are investigating all aspects," said the police inspector of Pocharam IT Corridor.
