News Topical, Digital Desk : A sudden fire broke out in the parking lot of Gorakhpur's Sahjanwa Tehsil complex on Thursday afternoon, causing panic. The fire started among the motorcycles parked in the parking lot, and within no time, three bikes were engulfed in flames. One of them belonged to the president of the Tehsil Bar Association. Within a short time, all three bikes were reduced to ashes.

The sudden fire caused panic in the tehsil premises. People present there ran to safety, while others attempted to extinguish the flames with fire equipment. The cause of the fire remains unknown. SDM Sahajanwa, who arrived at the scene, has ordered an investigation.

Firefighters brought the fire under control

A fire broke out under suspicious circumstances in the Sahjanwa Tehsil complex in Gorakhpur. Three bikes parked there were destroyed in the blaze. The bike of KK Tripathi, president of the Sahjanwa Tehsil complex's Bar Association, was also destroyed. The fire brigade, which arrived after receiving information, managed to control the blaze. During this time, chaos prevailed in the tehsil.

About half a dozen vehicles were parked in the parking lot.

In Gorakhpur's Sahjanwa tehsil complex, a tin shed sits directly behind the tehsildar's chamber. Since the shed is vacant, some lawyers and tehsil employees park their vehicles there. On Thursday, September 25th, about half a dozen vehicles were also parked there. Around 1:45 pm, the bikes parked in the shed began to burn.

When the lawyers saw the smoke, they started shouting. Some immediately removed their bikes from the scene, but three bikes were burned to ashes because they were not removed in time. Two of these bikes belonged to KK Tripathi, president of the Tehsil Bar Association, and one belonged to Tehsil employee Sunny Kumar. 

Investigation into the cause of the fire has begun

Upon receiving the information, SDM Keshari Nandan Tiwari, CO GIDA Arun Kumar S, Tehsildar RK Kannaujiya, Naib Tehsildar Durgesh Chaurasia, and the police station in-charge reached the spot and informed the fire brigade. The fire brigade arrived about an hour later and brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire is unclear. The SDM stated that the scene has been inspected and the cause is being investigated.
