News Topical, Digital Desk : India has launched a new e-Production Investment Business Visa to promote production and investment. It's called the e-B4 visa. Chinese businesses can apply for specific business activities.
An advisory issued on the Indian Embassy's website states that the E-B-4 visa, which will be introduced from January 1, 2026, can be applied for online without visiting the embassy or agents. This new visa has been introduced in response to the growing demand for visas for business travel to India.
Will be released in 45 to 50 days
This visa is issued in approximately 45 to 50 days and allows a stay of up to six months in India. This visa is applicable for senior management and executive positions involved in installation and commissioning, quality checks and essential maintenance, production, IT and ERP ramp-up, training, and vendor enlistment.
Indian companies interested in inviting Chinese nationals on E-B-4 visa can apply by logging on to DPIIT's NSWS (National Single Window System) portal.
Indian Ambassador visits Buddhist pagoda in China
Indian Consul General in Shanghai, Pratik Mathur, visited the Tiger Hill Pagoda in the ancient Chinese city of Suzhou to mark the inauguration of the historic grand exhibition 'Light and the Lotus: Relics of Awakened' in India by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Modi inaugurated an exhibition of sacred antiquities related to Buddha in Delhi on Saturday and stressed that these are not just artefacts but an integral part of India's revered heritage.
