News Topical, Digital Desk : Mahoba News:  Actually, on Monday night, when eight children admitted in Bachha Ward 3 were given injections, their health suddenly started deteriorating. All the children complained of high fever, shivers and vomiting, due to which their relatives present in the hospital got scared and there was chaos in the ward. All the doctors and staff were immediately called to control the situation.

When the CMS inspected the matter today, it was revealed that the children whose health deteriorated were given Ceftrixone 1Gm injection. On enquiry, it was found that this injection was already filled in the syringe by the staff, due to which there was a reaction in the medicine and the condition of the children deteriorated.

The injections were already filled.
During the inspection, it was also found that some injections were still kept pre-filled in the emergency and children's ward, on which the CMS expressed strong displeasure. CMS Dr. Pawan Agarwal has instructed that now under no circumstances will any injection be kept pre-filled. The role of staff nurse Sangeeta Soni posted in the children's ward is also being investigated for this incident, and an explanation has been sought from her.

Dr. Agarwal said that such negligence will not be tolerated in the future. He warned the staff that strict action will be taken against anyone who tampers with the safety of patients. The hospital administration is now investigating the matter and if necessary, disciplinary action will be taken against the culprits.
