News Topical, Digital Desk : Monsoon is active across the country these days. Rain alert has been issued in many parts of the country today on 27th July. Talking about the country's capital Delhi and its surrounding areas, there will be humid weather here, but light rain is expected. Light rain may occur in many parts of Delhi including Rohini, Narela, Pitampura, Badli, Mundka, Paschim Vihar and Punjabi Bagh.

Alert for these districts of UP

Heavy rains are continuing in many districts of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Banda, Chitrakoot, Agra, Prayagraj, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Rampur and Bareilly. There is also an alert of heavy rain in Pilibhit, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur and surrounding areas. There is a possibility of lightning along with thunder in Ballia, Lakhimpur Kheri, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar and Prayagraj.

Rain in many parts of Rajasthan

Heavy rain warning has been issued in many parts of Rajasthan, especially in south-eastern Rajasthan, extremely heavy rain is likely at some places. Banswara, Baran, Jhalawar, and Pratapgarh districts have been alerted for extremely heavy rain. Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Kota, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Tonk, Jaipur and Dausa districts have been alerted for heavy to very heavy rain. Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu and Nagaur are likely to receive light to moderate rain. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected to continue in eastern Rajasthan from 28 to 31 July. During this period, moderate to heavy rain will occur in some parts of western Rajasthan as well.

Light rain expected in Bihar

Light rain with strong winds may occur in many districts of Bihar. Districts like Patna, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, Nawada, Gaya, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Buxar, Gopalganj and Vaishali may be affected.

The weather will deteriorate in these states too

Light to moderate rain and thundershowers are expected in some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Due to the effect of the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal in Odisha, light to moderate rain is expected in most parts and heavy rain at some places. At the same time, moderate to heavy rain may occur in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, there is an alert of light to heavy rain in some parts of Madhya Pradesh.
