News Topical, Digital Desk : Amid the tariff dispute, Russia has once again extended a helping hand to India. Russia said that if India is facing trouble in entering the US market, then it can export its products to Russia.

Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Deputy Chief of Russian Mission Roman Babushkin said that the US pressure on India to buy Russian crude oil is unfair and one-sided. He said that if Indian goods are facing difficulties in entering the US market, the Russian market is welcoming Indian exports.

 He further said, "The US has created a challenging situation for India, but we have confidence in our relationship. We are confident that India-Russia energy cooperation will continue despite external pressure."

He further added that Russia is the largest supplier of crude oil to India. And India's demand is growing year after year. Certainly, this is a perfect example of mutual harmony and complementarity between our economies. We are confident that our cooperation will continue."

Let us tell you that Trump has imposed a 50 percent tariff on India. The reason given by the US for imposing the tariff is that India is helping Russia in the war (Russia-Ukraine war) by buying oil from it.
