Lorenz Krauss' shocking confession came Thursday, a day after police reported they had recovered two bodies from their Albany home. The police investigation found that Krauss' parents, Franz and Theresia Krauss, had not been seen or heard from in years.
Confessed to killing his parents in a TV interview
In an interview with local media outlet CBS6, Lorenz Krauss explained that he committed the murders because they were becoming too weak. Krauss was initially hesitant to directly admit he had killed his parents, but after the anchor asked him several questions, he confessed.

"His parents didn't ask me to kill him, but they knew his condition was deteriorating," Cross said. “I did my duty to my parents. My concern for their suffering was paramount.”
Parents were buried in the courtyard of the house
Cross said his mother had fallen and injured herself while crossing a road, and his father could no longer drive after cataract surgery. However, Cross did not mention any life-threatening illnesses in his parents.
Cross's interview followed an email from the channel that included his phone number. When the anchor called Cross, he explained how he buried his parents in his backyard.
