News Topical, Digital Desk : A horrific road accident occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, on Thursday night. At least 11 members of the same family were killed in the accident.

Three people were also reportedly injured in the accident, according to police officials.

How did the accident happen?

The accident occurred late Thursday night in Dera Ismail Khan district when a vehicle's brakes failed, causing it to fall into a ditch. The vehicle was traveling from Zhob district to Dera Ismail Khan.

Rescue officials said seven bodies were recovered from the scene. These included five women, one man, and a child. Three people injured in the accident were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Officials said all the deceased belonged to the same family.
