This Gurudwara was affected by the firing from across the border from Pakistan. After this, Amit Shah visited the Geeta Bhawan Temple in Poonch and offered prayers and also inspected the damage caused to the temple due to the firing from across the border by Pakistan.

Amit Shah said that we will not tolerate any kind of encroachment on the citizens, army or the border of India. How was the Gurudwara attacked?

Actually, on 22 April, Pakistan carried out a terrorist attack in Pahalgam. 26 people died in this. In response to this, Indian forces launched Operation Sindoor on the night of 6-7 May and destroyed terrorist hideouts within Pakistan and PoK. Around 100 terrorists were killed in this. After this, Pakistan attacked Indian civilians and hideouts near the border with bullets and cannons. During this attack, Pakistan also targeted Singh Sabha Gurudwara in Poonch. However, after this the Indian forces retaliated against Pakistan. Many airbases, fighter planes, air defense etc. of Pakistan were destroyed. After this, Pakistan came on its knees and started demanding ceasefire. After this, a ceasefire took place between the two countries on 10 May.

Home Minister Amit Shah, while addressing the people of Poonch, said, "We all know that compensation, government jobs etc. cannot compensate for the loss of your life. Many people's houses have been damaged in Poonch, many business places have been damaged. LG sahab told that the Jammu and Kashmir government has helped. However, the Government of India will soon bring a package for business places."
