News Topical, Digital Desk : Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi has been served a notice to vacate her 10 Circular Road residence. However, she has been allotted a new residence. The opposition has termed this government decision as "revenge politics." Former Congress MLA from Kadwa, Shakeel Ahmed Khan, reacted to this.
What did the former Congress MLA say?
Shakeel Ahmed Khan said, "Does the current government care about the dignity and respect of opposition leaders? When you're consumed by a spirit of revenge, anything can be done. In this very country, Rahul Gandhi's bungalow was vacated. In this very country, Rahul Gandhi lost his membership. It was only with the blessings of the public that he got everything back. Anything can happen in this country during the Bharatiya Janata Party's rule." Let us tell you that Rabri Devi has now been shifted to Central Pool Residence No. 39 on Harding Road.
Also reacted to Mamta Banerjee's statement
Congress also reacted to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's statement. They said, "Mamata ji has a well-known style. The world knows it. But whether it's West Bengal or any other part of India, a different political approach is required. You should direct people towards basic tasks. There's no need for us to invent a new method to counter the Bharatiya Janata Party's approach. We need to act on the mandate the public has given us."
It is noteworthy that on Tuesday (November 25), West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, while targeting the BJP, had said, "Don't try to play with me. You will not be able to compete with me politically and you will not be able to defeat me."
