News Topical, Digital Desk : Chris Evans and Alba Baptista have become parents. According to TMZ, the Captain America star's wife, Alba, welcomed a daughter on October 25 in Massachusetts, USA. The couple has not yet made an official announcement.
The couple has always preferred to keep their relationship private. Interestingly, the actress even kept her pregnancy a secret. According to some media reports, the baby has been named Alma Grace Baptista Evans.
How did Chris and Alba's love story begin?
Chris and Alba's relationship first became public knowledge in 2022. After dating for several years, the couple married in a lavish ceremony at their Boston home in the summer of 2023. Their wedding was attended only by close family, friends, and some of Chris' Marvel co-stars.
I dreamed of becoming a father
Chris previously spoke in an interview about how important family values are to him and how excited he would be to become a father. In a conversation with Access Hollywood, he described becoming a parent as his dream.
"Being a father would be like a dream role for me," he said, adding that he hopes to one day achieve the title of superhero dad.
Chris's upcoming projects
On the work front, the actor hasn't commented on his upcoming projects. However, he has dismissed rumors of a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for Avengers: Doomsday. When speculation about his return was rife, he stated, "I'm happily retiring."
