A fan who came to Mumbai for Shah Rukh Khan's birthday joked about not getting a room in the hotel and asked if he could stay at Shah Rukh's bungalow Mannat. Shah Rukh also answered this question in a very humorous manner. The actor said, "These days I don't even have a room in Mannat... I am staying on rent!!!" This answer of Shah Rukh showed why he connects with the audience and how he is everyone's fan favorite.
Work is currently underway at Mannat
The actor also answered the question whether he would continue the annual tradition of greeting fans outside Mannat, as he does every year. Construction is currently underway at Shah Rukh Khan's home, Mannat. Shah Rukh Khan has temporarily rented a luxurious apartment in the same area.
When asked about his plans for this year, he said, "Of course, but might have to wear a hard hat!!!"
Why doesn't Shah Rukh Khan give interviews?
Another user asked why he doesn't give interviews anymore, saying they don't get a chance to hear his views. True to his witty nature, Shah Rukh Khan replied, "I have nothing new to say... and the old interviews are old too, so... ha ha."
Shah Rukh Khan's next film, currently titled King, will be directed by Siddharth Anand. In addition to Shah Rukh, it will also star Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
