News Topical, Digital Desk : After Diwali, once again a big fall was recorded in gold and silver. On Tuesday, the price of gold in the international market was $ 3943.10 (about  Rs 3,48,076  ) per ounce and the price of silver was $ 46.48 (about Rs 4060) per ounce. Whereas in the domestic market, there was a huge decrease of Rs 3-3 thousand in gold and silver. The effect of the fall in the international market was also seen on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA). The fall in the prices of these metals continues at both the places.

How much did the prices of gold and silver fall on MCX today?

Gold prices fell by 1.87%, falling by ₹2,257 to ₹1,18,700 per 10 grams on MCX as of 5 p.m. on Tuesday. During trading on MCX, the lowest price for 10 grams of gold was ₹1,17,628 and the highest was ₹1,20,106. Gold had closed at ₹1,20,957 on Monday.

Silver also saw a slight decline of 0.93%, falling by ₹1,336 (Silver Price Today). Silver closed at ₹1,43,367 on Monday and fell to ₹1,42,031 per kilogram on Monday. Silver's low was ₹1,39,306 and high was ₹1,43,298 per kilogram.

Gold and silver prices fall by Rs 3,000 each at IBJA

The price of 24-carat gold on IBJA (Gold Rate Today) at 12 noon was ₹1,19,164, which fell to ₹1,18,043 at 5 pm. This means a decrease of ₹1,121 in five hours. Compared to the previous day, gold became cheaper by ₹3,034. On Monday, the price of 24-carat gold was ₹1,21,077.

Silver prices fell sharply by ₹3,135. The price of silver (Silver Rate Today) on IBJA was ₹1,43,400 per kilogram at 12 noon, but fell to ₹1,41,896 at 5 p.m. This means it fell by ₹1,504 in five hours.
