News Topical, Digital Desk : Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has expressed India's gratitude to France for its steadfast support following the Pahalgam terror attack and emphasised the two countries' shared commitment to zero tolerance against terrorism.

 

Piyush Goyal is on a visit to France and Italy from June 1 to 5. He will stay in France for the first three days. He underlined the deep understanding between India and France on efforts to fight terrorism.

 

'France has zero tolerance against terrorism'

Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that the people and government of France, like India, have zero tolerance against terrorism. The French Senate delegation that visited India recently fully supported India's stand and instilled confidence in us that the world is with us as we fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

 

Union Minister mentioned Paris terrorist attack

The Union Minister also pointed out the similarities between the experiences of the two countries on terrorism, referring to the 2015 Paris terror attack. He said, the people and government of France can understand India's anger.
