European countries will help Ukraine by selling Russia's assets, Russia said - we will settle accounts by the end of the century

It has said that this attempt by European countries is unjust. Russia will take action against this in court and outside. Any country that works to destroy Russian assets will be targeted by Russia in the future.

After Russia's attack on Ukraine in 2022, the US and its allied European countries seized the assets of Russia and its wealthy citizens abroad. According to an estimate, at that time, assets worth $300 to $350 billion of the Russian government alone and cash deposited in foreign banks were seized.

Process started in European Union

There have been many discussions about helping Ukraine by selling seized Russian assets, but for the past few weeks, the European Union (EU) has been working on preparing a proper process for this. The process has also begun in Britain and the US. With the completion of this process, assets worth hundreds of billions of dollars will go out of Russia's hands forever.

The money received from the sale of this property will be used to provide Ukraine with weapons and cash aid for the war. Therefore, Russia has become restless with the fear of this two-way loss. According to sources, EU chief Ursula von der Leyen has asked Ukraine to speed up the process of selling Russian property to get major military aid. Along with this, serious consideration is being given to helping Ukraine by selling Russian money and bonds deposited in foreign banks.

Russia warned

Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has said that we will aim to settle accounts with any European country that tries to destroy our assets by the end of the century. Therefore, before taking any such step with Russian assets, all European countries should think about its adverse consequences, they will be directly targeted by Russia.

Medvedev said that the unjust seizure of Russian property and now the attempt to sell it is theft of Russian property. This will not be tolerated. Russia will get justice through the courts and outside them at all costs. Whereas European countries say that Russia is responsible for the destruction of Ukraine and the loss of life there, so its losses should be compensated.
