The makers of "Dhurandhar: The Revenge," which is slated for a theatrical release, released a powerful trailer on Saturday. The trailer for Ranveer Singh's "Dhurandhar 2" has already received over 2.3 million views in just one hour.
While Aditya Dhar focused on the dacoit Rehman in last year's "Dhurandhar - Part 1," this time the dangerous gangster from Lyari has been eliminated. Read below for details on which character and actor will be the focus of the story in "Dhurandhar: The Revenge."
The story of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' will focus entirely on this actor.
In "Dhurandhar 2," the makers' focus will be on Hamza Ali, aka Ranveer Singh. The film will depict how Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ajay Sanyal executes the "Dhurandhar" mission and sends Jaskirat Singh Rangi, disguised as Hamza Ali Mazari, to Pakistan as a spy. To achieve this goal, he joins the gang of Lyari gangster Rehman Dacoit and, after plotting with Chaudhary Aslam, ends his life.
Now in the second part, director Aditya Dhar has put the most focus on Ranveer Singh's character, where his past life and the story of him taking the place of Rehman dacoit in Lyari will be shown in detail. There are 3 to 4 things in the trailer which will increase the excitement of the fans. Even though Ranveer Singh had less dialogues in the first part, but this time he has delivered many such lines, hearing which the audience will start whistling in the theatres.

While Ranveer Singh's character is the center of attraction in "Dhurandhar: The Revenge," R. Madhavan's role is also set to be significantly expanded this time around. In addition to these two, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Ali Khan also have more screen time in the second installment. 'Dhurandhar 2' will hit the theatres on this date
Speaking of the release date of "Dhurandhar 2," the film was originally scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, 2026, competing with Kannada rock star Yash's film ("Toxic"). However, just days before its release, the makers of "Toxic" decided to push the film's release date, leaving it alone in theaters in the Hindi belt. Besides Hindi, "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" will also be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
