Purnima had just reached the staff room after finishing her class when a loud explosion was heard outside. Purnima quickly ran out and a teacher who was teaching with her was running towards Purnima. His whole body was on fire and he was shouting for help. Before Purnima could understand anything, the man fell on the ground.

Purnima stood there like a statue. When she looked around, she saw that the fire had spread in the entire corridor of the school. The children whom she had taught just a while ago were running here and there to save themselves, like a ball of fire.

27 people died

This horrifying scene was of Milestone School and College located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. On Monday, an Air Force plane lost balance and crashed on the school. In this accident, 19 people including 16 children died and more than 100 people were badly burnt in the fire. Now, the death toll has reached 27.

The teacher's pain spilled

According to Purnima Das, "When I returned after 5 minutes, there were burnt bodies lying everywhere. I don't know why I didn't get a scratch. I had just come out of that class a while ago. The faces of those innocent children are flashing before my eyes."

How did the accident happen?

Let us tell you that the crashed aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force is F-7BGI, which is considered to be an advanced version of China's J-7 fighter aircraft. This aircraft, which took off from Dhaka, suddenly lost balance during training and collided with the building of Milestone School. The pilot also died in this accident.
