News Topical, Digital Desk : A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Delhi's Narela area. Here, a 32-year-old engineer Deepak allegedly pushed his own girlfriend Sadhna Singh from the sixth floor and killed her.
27-year-old Sadhna was a resident of Faridabad in Haryana and was studying fashion designing from there. This incident is said to have happened on Tuesday (29 July) night, while the police shared the full details on Wednesday (30 July).
What is the whole matter?
According to the information, Sadhna had earlier lived in a live-in relationship with Deepak in Noida. After this, Deepak recently left his job in Noida and started working in Kondli, Delhi and was living in a sixth floor flat in Narela. Sadhna used to come to Deepak's flat often to meet him.
Just a day before the incident, she had gone to meet Deepak. There she came to know that Deepak's parents had chosen another girl for his marriage. There was a fight between the two over this matter and the argument escalated into violence. During this time, Deepak allegedly pushed Sadhna down from the balcony and Sadhna died on the spot.
Situation on the spot and police action
The police had received information about a woman lying unconscious under a building in Narela area. When the police reached the spot, Sadhna had died on the spot. Several injury marks were found on her body and her clothes were also torn, which indicated that there was a physical struggle before the incident.
Outer North Delhi DCP Hareshwar Swami said that a case has been registered against the accused Deepak under Section 103 (1) (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and he is being questioned. He said that the body has been sent for postmortem and the forensic team has inspected the spot.
