News Topical, Digital Desk : A 12-year-old boy was behind the threat to Delhi's St. Thomas School. Police revealed this on Wednesday (16 July). Delhi Police said that the boy had sent a bomb threat email to get a holiday. This boy is not from the institute of these two. DCP Dwarka Ankit Singh said that on 15 July, a mail was received at St. Thomas School in which a bomb threat was given. After this, the cyber team and special staff immediately worked on it. A 12-year-old boy was identified who had sent this mail. He told that the child was counseled and handed over to his family.

DPC Dwarka further said that today also on 16th July a mail has come in which there is a mention of bomb threat. Cyber team is investigating this. Looking at the content, it seems that some children have sent this mail. Investigation is still going on. At the same time, there is no need for any school or parents to panic in this. The SOP of Delhi Police is being followed. 

Five schools received bomb threats on July 16

According to news agency PTI, panic spread in five private schools of Delhi after receiving bomb threats on Wednesday morning and authorities immediately evacuated the campuses for thorough investigation. Officials gave this information. This is the third consecutive day when bomb threats have been made through email. 

Earlier, in the last two days, threats of bombs being planted in some schools were proved to be false after investigation. After receiving an email threatening to blow up St. Thomas School in Dwarka, the fire department was informed about it at 5:26 am. They said that Vasant Valley School in Vasant Kunj received the threatening email at 6:30 am, Mother International in Hauz Khas received it at 8:12 am and Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar received it at 8:11 am.
