News Topical, Digital Desk : A 23-year-old Capgemini employee died after a commercial gas cylinder exploded in a co-living space in Kundalahalli, Bengaluru. Three other people were injured in the accident. The incident occurred at the Seven Hills Sai Co-Living paying guest facility on Monday at around 6:15 p.m. The explosion occurred on the ground floor of the seven-story building, which has 43 rooms.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Whitefield) K Parasuram said, "Some smoke was seen on the ground floor. The victim and two others, who were on the terrace, came down to check it.
It is believed that the explosion occurred at that time, killing Arvind. Two of the injured are employees of private companies and one works as a helper in a PG.
Emergency response was initiated as soon as fire and smoke were detected. Fire and police teams arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control. Police have registered a case. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the explosion.
Police are investigating the violation of rules and the cause of the blast.
Parashuram further said, "We are investigating any violations in the building. We have already found that no setbacks were given during construction and we are verifying whether other rules were violated as well,"a resident of Ballari, Karnataka, died in the blast. The three other injured were identified as 28-year-old Venkatesh (Kurnool), 23-year-old Vishal Verma (Uttarakhand), and 25-year-old C.V. Goyal (Uttarakhand). All the injured are currently undergoing treatment at Brookfield Hospital in the city. This paying guest (PG) building is owned by a man named Vishnu from Andhra Pradesh. It is managed locally by a girl named Roja.
