News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump has once again touted his role in brokering a ceasefire between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. Trump claims to have prevented eight wars worldwide, including the India-Pakistan tensions. However, Trump has not received any credit for this. Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida on Monday. During this meeting, Trump again raised the issue of India-Pakistan tensions, a video of which is now going viral on the internet.

India had refused

India has repeatedly rejected Trump's claims. Prime Minister Narendra Modi clarified in Parliament that no third country had any role in the ceasefire during the India-Pakistan tensions. This did not sit well with Trump.

What did Trump say to Netanyahu?

During his conversation with Netanyahu, Trump said that he had prevented wars with several countries, including Armenia and Azerbaijan, by threatening them with tariffs, but he was not given credit for it

Trump said, "I ended eight wars, but we don't even know the names of the countries. Russian President Putin himself told me he couldn't believe I ended a war he'd been trying to stop for ten years in just one day."
